I have my own views on how many appointments should be achievable for each day of telemarketing but I am keen to get other opinions on what is realistic wit good data in the professional services arena. _________________ Richard Rouse

I think it all depends on the target and campaign.
An IT campaign talking to the IT or FD will generate different results to a marketing campaign talking to the Investor Relations Director.
Also, times have changed. I work for a very successful lead generation company, however, since the reccession our results have changed across all our campaigns.
Typically we were making 6 meetings per campaign a month. Now its 4 or 5. Things are picking up now though. _________________ Visit www.telemarketinggb.com. Get 10 FREE telemarketing quotes from the UK’s leading telemarketing companies.
I agree - each campaign can vary in the number of appointments.....
I work for a small but very successful telemarketing company.
We have various campaigns running - IT contacts - HR contacts and recently I am appointment making for small manufactuing companies where my contact is the MD.
Being able to talk to the decision maker is the key and if you have a good campaign usually they will take the appointment. I usually make between 5-6 appointments a month dependant on the type of campaign. _________________ Visit www.telemarketinggb.com.
